Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club Selected for Season Three of the Champions Cup Series
AURORA, CO (August 8, 2023) - United Futsal is thrilled to announce that Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club, a premier youth soccer and futsal club based in Aurora, Colorado, has been selected to join Season Three of the Champions Cup Series for the 2023-2024 season.
With a rich history that dates back to its foundation as the Colorado Fusion Soccer Club, Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer has grown to become the largest club in the state, and one of the largest in the nation, serving over 10,000 youth soccer players across the Front Range. The club's expansion into the futsal domain, guided by Rommy Ferreira as Director of Futsal, showcases their dedication to fostering talent and providing a complete player pathway.
Partnering with United Futsal and participating in the Champions Cup Series have opened new avenues for Colorado Rapids youth players, giving them the chance to compete with top futsal clubs both within the United States and on an international stage. The club's coaching staff, including experienced individuals such as Rommy Ferreira, Roxy Kamal, Chris Gartside, and Lexi Rudolph, are well-equipped to prepare the teams for success in the forthcoming season.

Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer's comprehensive futsal program offers over 60 hours of training annually, ensuring that players are well-prepared for the intensity and caliber of the upcoming season. The club's emphasis on holistic player development, aligned with the joy of the game, creates a supportive environment where players can thrive both on and off the field.
The decision to join the Champions Cup Series was driven by the club's commitment to providing enriching experiences for its players. Futsal has proven to be an integral part of their player pathway, and by partnering with United Futsal, they gain access to Regional, National, and World Championships, as well as access to player development camps such as National Training Camp, FUTURES, and PRO-X. These opportunities also allow Colorado Rapids to capitalize on their teams and players’ success, ultimately attracting more players to the club, and overall futsal community.
