Tampa Bay Rowdies Join Season Three of the Champions Cup Series
Tampa, FL (September 5, 2023) – The Tampa Bay Rowdies are thrilled to announce their official participation in Season Three of the Champions Cup Series for the 2023-2024 season.
Established in 2021, the Rowdies Futsal program has rapidly gained recognition for its commitment to excellence and player growth. Led by Head Coaches Guilherme Dos Santos and Flavio do Amaral, as well as Assistant Coach Rubens Almeida, the club has exclusively partnered with United Futsal since inception and has quicky solidified itself as a force within the futsal community.
Although only a few years old, the Rowdies Futsal program has found its groove when it comes to preparing for the futsal seasons and guaranteeing success. Their rigorous training regimen includes weekly practices during the club soccer season, intensifying to multiple sessions per-week during breaks. This approach, coupled with their dedication to producing well-rounded athletes, reflects the club's aim to complement traditional soccer by offering players an avenue for holistic development through futsal.
