Rush Central Joins United Futsal's Champions Cup Series for 2023-2024 Season

While this marks Rush Central's first official year as a member of the Champions Cup Series, their journey into the world of futsal began with a successful partnership with SSA in the 2023 United Futsal Nationals and Worlds, where they gained valuable experience in high-quality futsal competitions. The Champions Cup Series is known for its unique environment that tests players abilities in various aspects, including concentration, anticipation, decision-making, and deception, providing a platform for young athletes to flourish. The partnership with United Futsal offers Rush Central the opportunity to build a robust youth futsal program while allowing players the flexibility to continue participating in both soccer and futsal.
In preparation for the upcoming season, Rush Centrals plan for success involves the identification of talent through ID Camps and rigorous training. Their overarching philosophy and vision revolve around nurturing aspiring players to compete in Champions Cup Series events, with futsal playing a pivotal role in identifying young talents who can progress through their player pathway. With a lead coaching staff consisting of Leo Barbosa and Fio Santos that bring over a decade of experience at all levels, Rush Central’s goals for the upcoming season are clear – to compete against the nation's top futsal clubs, elevate their brand within the futsal community, and win.
