USA FUTSAL

Our Past

United Futsal’s journey began as USA Futsal in 2012, when they created the World Futsal Cup to allow four top American futsal teams to compete against the best clubs in Spain. From there, the relationships in Spain led to the group being chosen to host the Intercontinental Futsal Cup, the world’s top global professional futsal tournament in the summer of 2013. This led to a deal with Disney Sports to launch the World Futsal Championships at the ESPN Wide World of Sports, which lasted five years, until United Futsal outgrew the venue in 2020. Since then, we’ve only been growing and expanding our reach.

United Futsal stands today as a beacon of excellence in the world of futsal. We proudly host premier events that serve as the stage for talent, enthusiasm, and the competitive spirit intrinsic to this exhilarating sport. Our comprehensive development programs continue to empower the next generation of futsal athletes, while our collaboration with clubs worldwide strengthens the global futsal community.
