Gauchito United FC enters Champions Cup Series Eastern Conference

GUFC is on board with United Futsal Champions Cup Series 2021-2022 Season.
Miami, FL - Gauchito United Futsal Club is a youth futsal club established in 2017 and was founded by Mario Concha, who strived to introduce Futsal to the youth in Miami. “We strongly believe futsal is the game changer in making smarter, more technical and well rounded soccer players through the tools that futsal offers,” says Concha. Gauchito’s mission is to help create world class soccer players who have strong technical skills with good moral values.
The founder of GUFC describes what Futsal means to him by stating, “Futsal has been a part of my life since I can remember. Being of Argentine descent, I spent summers in Argentina, playing futsal with friends. We also played a ton here in Miami - it was the street style of futsal that we played at my local club.”
Concha continued: “I wish we had this kind of organized Futsal when I was growing up in South Florida. Today, as an adult, I continue to play it! As a player, it helped me think quickly in tight spaces and to enjoy myself on the court. That skillset is why I like it for young players - as it forces players to think ahead, be creative and not hide.”
Concha dedicated himself to creating a platform for the players in the club to compete in high level tournaments. By joining United Futsal’s exclusive Champions Cup Series program, it will expose Gauchito’s players to teams from different parts of the country and the world that may have different styles of play than what they have seen before. “The Champions Cup Series experience will help our players grow and develop, as well as develop the sport, especially in South Florida.”
